MAXIMUM ADJUSTABILITY AND MAXIMUM SUPPORT

We've teamed up with Pioneer Fitness to bring to you the Official Pioneer Adjustable Lever combined with our NEW premium CERBERUS Strength all real leather lever belt.

The PAL V2 is patent pending Lever made to the highest standards with two headed rivets keeping the lever operation smooth. This lever gives you the best of both worlds, the adjustability of a prong belt but with the mechanical lever of a classic lever belt. You can get maximum tightness and maximum adjustability but you can also release your belt with the minimum of effort. The adjustability means you can swap between different tightness settings for different lifts or events with ease and without need for a screwdriver, making this belt very quick, easy and safe to use.

Our new belt has a debossed iconic CERBERUS logo and is made to the highest standards from 100% leather with quality and durability in mind. For the inner surface of the belt we have used a soft, non-slip suede finish with our signature “MADE STRONG FOR THE STRONG” quote embroidered. This belt has a firm/rigid feel and is extremely supportive. 10cm wide and 13mm thick with high strength nylon stitching, it is made to the maximum specifications of the IPF and other powerlifting federations.

You can adjust the PAL V2 in two ways. It can be adjusted up and down sizes by unscrewing the lever like a traditional lever; however, the PAL V2 also had a unique front plate with multiple hooks which the PAL V2 locks into. This means you have 3 different tightness settings for your belt without removing your lever.

Please Note: This belt is made from real leather, as such your belt may have some natural variations in texture and finish.

Ideal for your heaviest Squats, Deadlifts and Yoke

How do Lifting Belts actually work?

A belt supports the back, this is true to a degree however not in the way most would think. A belt works by increasing intra-abdominal pressure by up to 40 percent! Increasing the intra-abdominal pressure provides spinal stability leading to greater force output. This intra-abdominal pressure pushes against the spine from the inside, whilst the core muscles of the abdominal wall and lower back push on the spine from the outside. These two forces (inside and outside pressure) acting against each other to stabilise the spine and reduce the stress on it. This is how your belt actually protects you from injury.

Does a Belt actually help Performance?

Research shows that WHEN USED PROPERLY wearing a belt can help you generate more force and bar speed on the Squat and Deadlift, which translates into higher one-rep maxes and more reps with any given weight.

When should you use a Belt?

You don’t need to nor should you wear a belt all the time on every exercise. Your belt should fit tight, if it feels comfortable and you can leave it on for your whole workout then it is not tight enough and you will not be getting any of the benefits from wearing it. It gives most of its benefits on lower body dominant exercises such as Squats, Deadlifts, Strongman Events and Olympic Lifts. As you get closer to maximum weight use the belt for performance and safety.

You should definitely NOT wear a belt if you have health conditions like uncontrolled high-blood pressure or conditions that can be exacerbated by intra-abdominal pressure like a hernia.

Sizing

How to measure your waist for your CERBERUS x Pioneer Adjustable Lever Belt:

  1. Use a pliable measuring tape or seamstress tape.
  2. Measure around your waist, about 4 inches above where your pants are. *Do not “suck in”, measure in a relaxed state, then pull the measuring tape tight. Use this measurement to choose your correct belt size.
  3. Take that measurement and use the size guide on the belt you are interested in ordering.

Please note that although this sizing guide works for the majority of people, due to different body types there will be the odd occasion where you might want to exchange your belt for a different size - we will be more than happy to do this.
